About me
I'm Alejandra, or Ale if you prefer. I'm a health psychologist with a degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a registered member of the bar association (number 29342).
I'm passionate about psychology and the world of emotions. I specialize in emotional trauma and trauma-related anxiety disorders; we all have our inner child and sometimes an unresolved story.
It's not always necessary to delve deeply into the past, but when it is, I have many valuable techniques and tools to help us embark on the healing journey. In other words, I specialize in neuropsychologically derived techniques, such as EMDR, for reprocessing emotional trauma and integrating the self. And when it's not necessary to delve into the past, there's much to do and learn in the present about how to better relate to your environment and how to manage your emotions much better.
In my years of experience, I have extensively worked on anxiety, self-awareness, healing emotional trauma and wounds, eating disorders, dissociations, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, agoraphobia, and other anxiety-related disorders. I love my profession and fully trust the progress and process of each of my patients by thoroughly analyzing the root causes of their problems and addressing each emotion.
