Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have any questions about Nutrition + Pnie?
What is the nutritional plan that is given to me?
We adapt each plan to the needs of each person so that following the plan is as simple as possible. We can plan a menu with different options to create original dishes if you like to cook, a flexible plan based on portions, a more strict plan specifying quantities or a simple plan for those who do not like to cook. Tell us your needs and we will adapt to it to make it as easy as possible for you.
Do our therapists have official qualifications?
In the "Team" section, you can learn about the qualifications of each therapist. All of our professionals have training in Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Psychoneuroimmunology, Psychology, Medicine/Endocrinology, and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, as well as a multitude of specialized courses.
Should I take any type of test before the visit?
We do not need any proof until we have the first visit, but if you have any previously completed, you can send it to us. In the first session the therapist will want to know your history, your needs and your symptoms. Once the visit has been made, the necessary tests will be scheduled (if any) as they must be completely personalized and appropriate for your situation.
How do we study your microbiota?
We have the best laboratories to thoroughly analyze your digestive system. Based on your symptoms and budget, we will schedule the most appropriate tests for you and explain the results to you in detail.
Do we work with any mutual insurance company?
We do not work with any mutual insurance company. However, some of the scheduled tests may be covered by insurance.
Should follow-up visits be followed?
It depends on the case. We recommend regular follow-up care for the first three months, and if your case allows, we'll space out follow-up visits, but there's no obligation to purchase follow-up care every month.
Can I contact my therapist at any time?
It depends on the case. We recommend regular follow-up care for the first three months, and if your case allows, we'll space out follow-up visits, but there's no obligation to purchase follow-up care every month.
If the visits are online, how will I get tested?
Some are sent to your home by collaborating laboratories, and others can be easily performed in laboratories near your home.

What types of therapies do we work with in the consultation?
In our practice, we use different therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of each case. Among the techniques our professionals apply are cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoneurotherapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy (SFTT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Psychonutrition, and Analytical Depth Psychology.
Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
Yes, online therapies are just as effective as in-person therapies, and they also offer multiple benefits.
Numerous scientific studies conducted around the world support the effectiveness of online psychological therapies . The American Psychiatric Association states that "online therapy produces clinical results equivalent to those achieved with traditional in-office therapy."
On the other hand, the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine at Harvard University and the National Institute of Mental Health in the United States affirm that online therapy is as effective as in-person psychological consultations.
How many sessions do I need to feel better?
The number of therapy sessions needed to notice improvements can vary greatly depending on the individual and the situation. Some people may begin to feel changes after just a few sessions, while others may need several weeks or months. Factors such as the type of therapy, the nature of the issues being addressed, and the relationship with the therapist also play a role. The most important factors are the willingness to work on the issues presented and the continuity of the sessions.
Do we work with any mutual insurance company?
We don't currently work with any health insurance companies. However, some insurers may cover the costs upon submitting our invoice, but we can't guarantee that your insurer will cover the costs.
Is there permanence?
There's no commitment. Although we recommend being consistent with your sessions to ensure good results, there's no commitment; you can schedule appointments whenever you want. Your psychotherapist will recommend the frequency of sessions.
Can I contact my therapist at any time?
You can contact your psychologist by email Monday through Friday. We respond within 24 to 48 business hours.
If the visits are online, where will the consultation be made?
We'll send you a link to join the session via email prior to your appointment. We can use Google Meet, Zoom, or WhatsApp. You don't need to download any paid apps to conduct visits; we'll tailor the method that best suits your needs.
Do you have any questions about Training?
Check out our FAQs or contact us.
What is the training plan that is given to me?
The training plan is completely individualized and optimized for each individual's situation. You'll find your workouts perfectly guided and explained through videos and our app.
Do our coaches have official qualifications?
That's right, our personal trainers have the official certifications necessary to carry out their work. But they go much further and continue to train independently so they can continue offering the best advice and training plans possible.
Should I take any type of test before the visit?
Depending on your goal, the coach will send you any necessary tests (videos, questionnaires, etc.). If you need any specific medical tests or assessments, the coach will help you find a suitable professional (physical therapist, orthopedist, etc.).
How do we assess your movement and functional status?
Very simple: through a series of functional mobility tests that we'll analyze with you, as well as questionnaires that you can fill out to give us clues as to where you'll need to address your training needs.
Do we work with any mutual insurance company?
Unfortunately not. Personal trainers (with the appropriate qualifications), although they are the most qualified to improve many pathologies, injuries, or pain, are not considered a healthcare profession. Therefore, working with a mutual insurance company is practically impossible. We hope that this situation will change in the future and we will be able to offer you this option.
